Take your time
Make sure you take some weekly time for your German. When is a good time for you to sit down with a cup of coffee or tea and concentrate on learning something new? Is it a Monday morning or rather a Wednesday evening, maybe a Saturday afternoon? Find your personal time slot and book it in your calendar.
Stick to 20 verbs
Start with your first phrases and – here is the trick – learn the 20 most-used verbs with their conjugation. Starting from there, you can build a good set of first sentences to use in various combinations again and again.
Understand the logic behind
To understand how the language works, make sure you find clear explanations and practice with interactive exercises in an online course.
Write every day!
Make sure you practice your sentences with your first 20 verbs over and over again by writing sentences every day. This might seem repetitive in the beginning – it helps you remember and feel safer at using your new language. Share your sentences in our community and connect with other learners!
Happy learning! 🙂

Don’t forget to turn on the subtitles! For improving your German language skills, you should watch movies and series with subtitles in German, too.
